We offer 12-14-week School Readiness Program to help children and their parents get ready for the transition to kindergarten.

This program is available to families by registration only and consists of both parent/guardian and child learning components.

Children attending the program learn alongside one another in one of our school readiness classrooms, which are designed to encourage play-based learning that supports their development of kindergarten readiness skills, including:

  • Social skills
  • Direction following
  • Transitioning between activities
  • Communication in a group environment

While children learn alongside one another, so do parents. Parent involvement is a critical element of our school readiness program. Parents of children attending our School Readiness Program remain at our Early Years Program, attend workshops, share information, observe their children, and receive coaching and support to optimize their child’s learning and facilitate the transition to school.

Morning and afternoon sessions are available in 12-14-week blocks for this program.  To ensure success for families, child and parent/guardian attendance at sessions is critical.
