Closure of Regent Park Community Health Centre’s Consumption and Treatment Site – Bevel Up
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of our Consumption and Treatment Site, Bevel Up. We understand this decision may bring feelings of loss and uncertainty for those who have relied on this service for support and safety.
For many, Bevel Up has been a vital space offering harm reduction services in a compassionate, non-judgmental environment. We recognize the importance of this service in supporting the health and safety of individuals, and the closure is deeply concerning for those who have depended on it to reduce the risks associated with substance use.
We want to reassure our community that while this particular site is closing, we remain committed to your well-being. Clients can continue to access consumption services at Street Health located at 338 Dundas Street East.
More information regarding our upcoming HART Hub program will be available soon. HART Hubs are designed to provide access to recovery and treatment programs for individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues. While these hubs do not offer drug consumption services, they are a critical part of ongoing efforts to support our community. Stay tuned for more details on how the HART Hub will serve you.
